Scotland has a structured National Player Pathway which is supported by the Scottish FA and the Scottish Youth FA providing the right environment and challenges for each player at their age and stage of development.

The National Player Pathway fundamentally promotes the small-sided game, where young players will get plenty of touches of the ball, opportunities to score a goal, chances to make a successful pass, and find themselves in plenty of 1v1 situations.

We look forward to seeing you along.

Small Sided Hubs Housekeeping Rules

Car Parking/Congestion and General Guidance

  • Can we please get a note on the PJDYFL website asking parents/coaches to park within the allocated parking bays at Johnstone Hub and to follow any guidance/instructions issued by Leisure Staff. We will be using the Johnstone High School Car-Park specifically for the PJDYFL let. To assist us in managing the congestion we will have a member of staff issuing guidance to cars/drivers upon arrival at the hub for the first few weeks of the season, we hope that the PJDYFL and member clubs/coaches will assist us in ensuring any parking guidance is followed. Unfortunately last season we encountered inappropriate, illegal and inconsiderate parking, Renfrewshire Leisure have decided to adopt a policy whereby a Violation Sticker will be placed on vehicles parked where they are causing obstruction. I must add this was a rare occurrence and the vast majority of attendees were very co-operative.
  • Changing Areas: Please inform teams/key personnel that shared Changing Areas will be provided however Changing Rooms will not be allocated to any one club. Lockers can used, a £1 coin is required
  • No Smoking is permitted within the grounds of Johnstone Community Sports Hub
  • Please use litter bins provided
  • No Dogs on Parks
